Loft insulation in Woodford Green: what to look out for

- The ventilation. Insulation pushed into the eaves can stop air moving and lead to condensation, so I check it on every loft.
- Boarded areas. Boards laid straight onto thin insulation squash it, so I look underneath.
- The loft hatch. An uninsulated hatch lets warm air straight into the loft.
